Notes from An Australian Summer. 2010/2011
Watercolour and Ink on Paper
These drawings/watercolours were created while during a quite awe inspiring tour of the the forests and coasts of the Australian Eastern Seaboard in the Summer of 2010/2011.
The works primarily focus on threatened and critically endangered species of native Australian Flora and Fauna.
This short series, was created mostly in-situ, and re-ignited a passionate connection with the Australian land. It was both a personal catalyst and the beginnings of an exploration of “Ecological Portraiture.”
